Fuel Management System

Our rugged, dependable loading arms enable faster, safer, more efficient refuelling. They give the best opportunity to optimise the dispensed flow rate of the fuel.
Banlaw utilises the Elaflex ZVA Slimline 2 Nozzle for its splash fill refuelling installations. For Banlaw FuelTrackTM managed applications, automatic vehicle identification auxiliary equipment is mounted on the nozzle. When identification tags are sensed by the modified nozzle, it will allow the fuel management system to log the vehicle, the amount of fuel, the location and the time of the transaction.
The Fueltrack 800 Series has been designed and engineered for mining and rail applications. It is a 2″ nozzle with medium shut down pressure (60-75 kPa @ 400 LPM) as the default, though it is available in other spring settings to suit your requirements.
The Fueltrack 1000 Series has been designed and engineered for mining and rail applications. It is a 2″ nozzle with medium shut down pressure (60-75 kPa @ 400 LPM) as the default, though it is available in other spring settings to suit your requirements.
Tank Side Monitor is a field device that provides a graphical representation of the storage on a screen located at the side of the tank (usually where the fuel is delivered) so operators, delivery drivers or inventory control staff can instantly see the product levels in each of the tanks. There is no need to climb and manually dip the tank.
LevelTrack is Banlaw’s automatic tank gauging application that records the actual fuel inventory level of tanks. Instruments on top of the tank/s automatically and remotely provide you with tank volume and temperature data, temperature compensated volume calculations, bulk storage water detection, and tank level alarming with email notification.
In a multi tank environment, without fuel stock rotation, most fuel or other hydrocarbons are drawn from or dispensed into those tanks closer to the pumps. The tank content farthest away from the pumps stays unused for long periods of time, leading to it becoming stale and causing potential microbial build-up in the tank. This can be detrimental to engines and overall equipment performance, impacting on efficient operations and maintenance costs.
Banlaw FuelTrack™ is a powerful management tool that saves you money by providing precise monitoring, reconciliation and centralised reporting of fuel usage or other liquid usage. The Fuel Management System assists with fuel security, environmental compliance, stock reconciliation, maintenance scheduling, cost analysis, the calculation of burn rates, fuel ordering and rationing as well as compliant measurement for fuel tax credit and carbon trading schemes. It also enables efficient charging of third parties using your refuelling facilities.
A Fuel Management System is a combination of hardware and software products, that together enable security, access, and control of fuel stores, whilst monitoring delivery and consumption. Banlaw fuel management systems are for companies that need increased accuracy, accountability, security or productivity from their fluid assets. It is normal for our fuel management customers to achieve fluid reconciliation rates in excess of 99.5%.
The Amrun Project is to produce some 22.8mtpa of Bauxite for the local production of Aluminium, as well as direct export to markets north of Australia. US$1.9b is being spent to expand production from one of the world’s premier Bauxite deposits, which has the potential for expansion to around 50mtpa. Banlaw’s involvement is the design, engineering, and supply of two fuel facilities.
We have our own in-house machining and assembly expertise, ensuring that products are of the highest quality and enabling us to incorporate additional safety, efficiency and user-friendly features.
With more than 35 years’ experience, Banlaw has a thorough understanding of the challenges and barriers to fuel management, monitoring and reconciliation. Our team of experienced engineers can assist you to solve your refuelling and fuel handling problems, minimising risks and improving your bottom line.
