Banlaw is delighted to continue supporting the Surfest Women’s Pro event in 2020.
Between the 2nd and 8th of March this year, our beautiful local Merewether Beach will host the largest surfing festival in the Southern Hemisphere.
Banlaw are one of a number of organisations involved each year in crowdfunding the event. Beyond ensuring that Surfest is an excellent experience for everyone attending, competing, and watching in 2020, this investment has enabled elite female athletes to compete for prize money equal to that of the men. This is the first time in the history of the sport that this has occurred!
To watch competitive pro surfers in the World Surfing League fight it out for points; then Newcastle Australia is the place to be in March this year. The event will also be televised live on Surfest.com.
